Well, I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later. October wasn't a good month for me. I made a pretty big change in October, that is more in line with my plans for this site.
I stopped all live betting, and I'm mainly focusing on just my own picks right now. I still have a subscription to Banker Bets, but I did cancel the recurring subscription, so November will be my last month with Banker Bets. You'll see from the results below that Banker is currently running at a loss for me, and I've had them at least 6 months.
That's not the reason why I'm cancelling Banker Bets, though. Their long-term record is stellar, and I'm a big believer in their model, but primarily, since I've developed my own soccer (football) system, I don't need to pay for other picks.
The MMA system that I developed (and have been tracking for months now) isn't going as strong as I would've liked. I will more than likely be going back to following a few different MMA handicappers, but I'm not going to add on anybody right now.
I made a total of 145 bets. I went 79-64, giving me a 55.2% win rate. I put a total of $29,066 into action, and made a net loss of -$1,427.99, producing a -4.9% yield.
Converting that to units (or points), I risked a total of 145 units, and lost -7.12 units.
I did the best in the NFL, and I did the worst in college football.
I made the most money at 5Dimes, and I lost the most money at Bookmaker. I made most of my bets at Pinnacle.
My CF system didn't do so well in October. I added in soccer (football, for the rest of the world outside of the US), because I've FINALLY found an edge I can exploit in soccer. It's taken me a long time, and I'm incredibly excited about it, because soccer is actually the #1 most bet sport in the world. It far surpasses the volume that American football does.
This is the last month that I will refer to this system as my CF system, as it's the only system that I will betting. So for future monthly reports, it'll just be my betting results (rather than giving it a specific system name).
I had 72 bets, and went 38-34, giving me a 52.8% win rate. I put a total of $10,854 into action, and I made a net loss of -$493.76, producing a -4.5% yield.
I decided to discontinue doing any live betting for right now, simply because it was taking up way too much of my time. My nights and weekends were pretty much nothing but placing live bets, and it was starting to get way too tiring to place all of those bets. I'm liking it much better placing bets when I get a chance to, instead of always having to be available when the games were on.
There were 43 bets, and they went 27-16, giving me a 62.8% win rate. I put a total of $6,492 into action, and I made a net loss of -$1,000.79, producing a -15.4% yield.
Since I started back on December 5, 2016, I have made a total of 3,006 bets. My total record is 1653-1305, giving me a 55.9% win rate.
I have put a total of $233,815.50 into action, and have made a net profit of $8,445.05, producing a 3.6% return on turnover. My Return on Capital is 319.65%.
Converting that to units (points), I've made a total profit of 108.57 units, which is about a +0.32 unit per day profit (9.8 units average monthly profit).
The average odds of my bets are -108, and my average bet size is risking $78.65.
I have made the most profit in the NFL, with MLB coming in 2nd, and NBA trailing in third. College football has produced the worst return for me so far.
I made the most money placing my bets at BetOnline, and I've lost the most money at Bookmaker. I've made the most of my bets at BetOnline, with Pinnacle coming in 2nd, and 5Dimes in 3rd.
Here's the active systems/handicappers that I'm currently using:
Well, I have been at this for 336 days now. That's an average of 8.9 bets per day. My average daily profit currently sits at $30.54, which is an average monthly profit of $928.87.
And here's my Profit Performance graph:
September's losing streak continued into October, as you can see from the graph above. It started recovering towards the end of October, and I hope it continues to recover through November.
